Praise of Salvation and Revival

God is so crazy amazing!!!!
He is working all over this country! He is proclaiming these people as his! Its so good! Lord, "Japan is yours!"
We are here to see a harvest. The Lord is readying these peoples hearts and we are going to see harvest! Every Friday night (is my favourite night of the week) I see God visibly moving in Japanese people and he shows up. Not last Friday but the one before was absolutely crazy. It was golden week here in Japan and there were lots of people out. Many people who were drinking and hanging out. We gathered where we do every week at the same time we do every week and we immediately felt distractions everywhere. So we felt we needed to pray. So everyone went out and walked around the park area and prayed over it first. It became much more peaceful. But only for a little while. Continual distractions. But something was happening. The enemy must have known this fact too because he was doing lots of things to try and stop us.A drunk man who had been dancing before around other guitar players came over to us and began dancing. Then he started shouting at the our guitar player to stop. A couple of times he tried to grab onto the guitar. One man over in the corner of the brick stage where we were was worshipping. He felt something inside of him and the only way he knew how to handle it was by doing what he does in shrines. He offered money by laying it on the ground and bowed. continually for around an hour at least. There was a ground of drunk men and one woman on the stage above us who were very drunk and out of it. They were there the whole time. So much happened I didn’t see everything. But we continued to worship and focus on the Lord but also love the people. At the end, the dancing man had calmed down after falling and different stuff. and the praying man left. Not long before we were about to end, the drunk lady from behind us sat on the step behind our guitar player and grabbed his shoulders. (Some of our girls gathered around and pulled her off gently and lovingly.) Then she started saying how the songs were touching her heart. How she felt something inside her. Then we started singing in Japanese and she had tears in her eyes and she just listened and was completely encountering the Lord! People began to pray for her and she would say, "no don’t pray for me any more I’m to full! My heart is too full!" We finished about 30 minutes past the time we normally do (which we are there for 2 hours). It was so good! So some people told this lady we would be there next week and she could come and join us. We also gathered around a young girl guitar player and listened. Then she asked Kyle, who had been playing the guitar before, to come and play with her. So he did. He ended up teaching her one of our worship songs in Japanese. Then she sang some of amazing grace. It was such a fullfily night!
Last Friday, that lady came back. The one who had been so very drunk the Friday before. She was sober and cleaned up. She had cut her hair and she was very calm. She told us, "This has been the longest week ever for me. I couldn’t wait to come back!" She joined us and worshipped. Some people prayed for her, then some told her the gospel and answered some of her questions. Then one of the girls went to her and sang over her in Japanese and prayed for her. Then that wonderful lady received Jesus into her heart. We went into praising the Lord and jumping and singing once again. My spirit was filled with excitement for sure! This is just the beginning! The first of many I will see come to the Lord! What breakthrough! What bigger miracle than seeing someone come to life once again! Praise the Lord! I am overjoyed for this woman! For the life she has been given! Please pray for her as well! (We hope to be giving her a bible this Friday too) Also that night my friends had the pleasure of sharing the gospel to a man for the first time in his life! He had never heard of Jesus! He had seen the cross but NEVER heard the name of Jesus. Praise God!
In this land the Lords people will see harvest. He will revive these people and they will see the light! My vision of revival started in Ikebukuro, this park that we meet at on Friday nights and it spreads throughout Japan! Its beginning! "Be ready for harvest!" Yes Lord! YES!
When the DEAD COME ALIVE! (this is a link to a video which is an amazing portrayal of the gospel)

On another note! The Lord uses the things we understand to proclaim his goodness. One thing I must admit I understand well, is anime. (Japanese animation) One Piece is one of my favourite shows. why am I saying all this? Because God gave me a cool revelation from one of the early episodes in this show. (which if you don’t want to read that’s fine. haha there are no tests on this subject)  The main characters name is Luffy. (Loo-fee) In this episode, Nami is a great navigator for ships and Luffy wants her to join his pirate crew. BUT, Nami is being held captive by a pirate who has her town as prisoner. Nami has spent years of her life under his control and fighting and fighting to end it herself. But then this pirate tells her she will never be free. She realizes that and breaks down. On her arm the pirate had labelled her with his symbol. She begins to scream and scratch at her tattoo on her arm because it has ladled her as a prisoner to this group. Then Luffy comes over to her and just watches her scream. Then he grabs her arm and stops her from hurting herself. She screams at him telling him to leave but he tells her he wont. She finally turns around with tears in her eyes and says, "Luffy, help me." Luffy gives her his hat. (Which he told her before it is is MOST valued object) Then he says, "OF CORES I WILL!" he goes off to the pirate and defeats him. Freeing Nami and her town. Not only that, but he takes her with him as part of his nakami. (his friend, comrade) The tattoo on her arm gets replaced with something that represents who she is. Nami is free. She gave up. She couldn’t fight any more. She turned to Luffy. (who she had actually stolen from and lied to and tricked in episodes before) and Luffy says, "atarimaida" (ah-ta-li(ri)-ma-e-da) (of cores) Jesus his the same for us. We cant fight any more. we never could! But he doesn’t just leave us, he goes and frees us! That is the gospel. I love this show and to see that God can show me these things. (even though its been a couple years sense I watched that episode exactly.) So anyway. God speaks to us in ways we can understand. It doesn’t look the same for every person. Below is a couple of snaps from the scene.
Thank you all for your prayers and support!! I am truly thankful to all of you! :)
