Halloween/Fall Festival
This month on the 28th, our YWAM Base will be putting on a fun festival with games, prizes and activities for families and kids!
It is an outreach to Japanese people so we can make friends and share about Jesus.
I am running two games during this time and I am actually super excited!
Please be praying for the finances for everyone helping so we can buy things for this event and also for Japanese people to hear about Jesus.

METS (English Club)
At Rikkyo University (in the photo) there has been for a long time a club called METS that I used to go to about a year ago. I stopped for a while when I was staffing DTS'es.
I started going again and my vision and heart for going is to make friends with the people there and build relationships with them.
Please be praying for those open doors for me and for the other YWAM staff who go there.
I found this if you want to know a little about the school: CLICK HERE TO READ.

Romance Road (Red light)
I have started again to do prayer walks with some other staff into the "red light district" in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Its called "romance road". Its where women's time is sold and most of the time their bodies as well. It is thought of as very normal here in Japan. It's very interesting walking through these streets, usually you can't see the girls because they are inside and you have to pay to get in. Sometimes they will have them out holding signs for their shops, but most of the time its just men luring other men to come and visit. The streets have sushi shops and meat restaurants and convenient stores then next to that they have signs for 'girls bars' and half naked women images on the door, then around the corner have a love hotel. This isn't one of the biggest places that this goes on in Tokyo, but it is just one of many. We are praying for open doors and guidance from the Lord as we walk these streets on Friday nights. My heart really breaks when I go here and even when I pray for this kind of thing for Japan. There are so many girls who are trapped and so many things going on that I want to all just end. I want one day for Japan to be a safe place that fights against sex trafficking instead of being a hub for it. Please pray for this as well! And for any ministries happening already that are fighting and rescuing people out of sex trafficking.

FRIDAY NIGHT WORSHIP
Before going into the red light district to pray, we spend about 2 hours worshipping in the park. Its been this way for years now, and I have really seen a shift in the park and in the area. (photo on left from the place we worship at).
Our call really is to bring the presence of God there and pray for a shift in the spirit.
Because of this plowing the ground, we have been seeing healings and salvations as our team mates go into the area and the city and share the gospel. People are more and more open than they used to be when I first got here.
Also, we have made really good friends from the park as well who have lasted a long time.

SALVATION AND BAPTISM
At our worship outreach, we met this lovely girl from America. One of our staff went over to speak with her and they connected. She was a Buddhist. (This was a while ago at some point).
Then this girl came to stay at our base for a bit before going back to her home in the states. While she was with us, she gave her life to Jesus, renounced Buddhism and got baptised!
Her whole life changed in a huge way and she really has given her life to God. Its amazing to watch and hear the cool things she is learning about God. She left for the states today, please keep her in your prayers!

Ministering To The Rich
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:23-26
I really love this verse so much. I have meditated on it often when it comes to ministering in Japan. Japan is not a hard place! Sometimes it is hard for people to understand why Japan is in need of missionaries. Japan is a prosperous country, it has big cities and fancy things. Its culture is kind and built on an amazing amount of honor and respect. But, it has close to no God in this country. People are so used to having convenience, technology and wealth all around them with many opportunities that it blinds them from thinking there is a need for anything else. But I can say this, it will never satisfy nor will it take them anywhere further than what this life can offer. It can never be our life, because our life is hidden with Jesus Christ (Col. 3:3)! And NOTHING is impossible with God! It says it right there.
My heart for this nation is something that God is building deep inside of me by teaching me through myself. Instead of relying on wealth, things, comfort, convenience, He is teaching me to rely completely on Him alone. Being surrounded by all these things and yet choosing him and his ways above the things in front of me, so that I too can speak from victory and revelation given to me by Holy Spirit. So that nothing in this life can shake me, because my foundation and roots are all connected to him. (Col. 2:6-7. 1Cor. 3:11-13 etc).
He is also teaching me to learn to be satisfied by Him alone. How to give my time to Him. How to spend time with Him in spirit and truth. How to love people. How to surrender. Its been a crazy ride so far. I wan't to give Him more and more because, the deeper I get the better He is. I promise you. He really is worth it. He really does have all the glory, all the power forever and ever! (1Chron. 29:10-13, Rev. 4:10-11 etc.)
