Back in Tokyo UPDATE

Hello Family and Friends!
thank you so so much for your prayers and support over my time in London and now back in Tokyo!

I have been very thankful for being back here in Japan and being with my YWAM Tokyo family.
I have again been reminded of my thankfulness for this wonderful group of people.

Its been a while since my last update, so I am posting some of the bigger things I have been up to since my last post.

Halloween Outreach!!

This past month we hosted our Halloween party outreach for families! We had lots of games with lots and lots of candy to give out to the kids as they played each game.
I got to be a big part of organizing things and decorating the base.

A good amount of Japanese families showed up for the event as well, and the kids had loads of fun! We had more families compared to last year.
We also got to share the gospel through a story time with the family and kids. It is always so encouraging to see people lean in while listening to the gospel being shared.
Thank you Jesus!

My Japanese Church
After returning to Japan, i was welcomed back by my lovely Japanese church group. They have again just made my heart very happy every Sunday as I get to know them a little more, even though I can't communicate very well, they still love me so well.
I got to join in with their church "retreat" over a weekend. It all happened at the church but they had a speaker come and had meals together.
We also watched a movie and after church on Sunday had a BBQ outside.
I got to have some good conversations with some of the church members.

SWAT!
(School of Worship and Transformation).

After coming back to YWAM Tokyo, I have been auditing (not full student, but get to learn with the students) the SWAT school.
It has been a real blessing and I often get blown away seeing how much these crazy awesome people can worship Jesus. Its a real blessing.

They are getting close to leaving for outreach, but for these almost 3 months now we have been in our first lecture phase. We have had teachers come and share on different topics and learning more about worship.
We have also been worshiping a lot.

For the SWAT school, there are times set aside to really sit with the Lord and go through the scriptures and lecture notes and process for myself. It has been some of my favorite times.
I have found that these times in the word and talking with Jesus have been so life bringing every time. He always is faithful to show me something new.

Small Group and Community
Again, it has been such a joy being back with this family.
Once a week, we have small group with staff and students. Our base has been growing a lot over the years, so we started doing small groups around a year ago so that we would stay connected, encouraged and together.
It is one of my favorite times of the week for sure.

New Website!

Link: http://iesusama.com/

This website is something new that a group of our staff put together to share the gospel easily and in detail with anyone we meet!
It is all in Japanese and has may ways that people can get connected and come to understand christianity.
There are little business cards that can be handed out to people we meet that have a code that can be scanned that takes you to the website.

I am really excited about this and very thankful it is happening!

My Mom came to Tokyo!

I AM SO EXCITED!!!

My beautiful Mother is here in Japan.

I am super thankful for this finally happening! My Mom has stepped into this part of my life for the first time!
So far for this first day it has been a huge joy walking her around and letting her be with my YWAM Tokyo family!
I can't wait for all the other fun stuff we will get to do!

Reminder Of My Call
This photo is a reminder to me that God answers prayers, He is loving, and His desire for people to know Him is greater than mine.

The Lord reminded me after coming back to Japan that He is the one that loves me and Japan, and that He has called me here simply because He loves.

I desire to love these people even more than I already do. No longer in my own strength like I have tried in the past, but to begin to lean on Him for my source and love because He first loved.
How freeing and awesome is that?

Thank You's and Prayer Requests!

Thank you to those who support me financially and to those who have been praying for me!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Prayer Requests:
- Japan Revival
- Japan Christians
- A Japanese family that I know
(Please pray for a Japanese family that I know who is going through a divorce in their family and other issues as well. I have been feeling a heavy burden to pray for their son who I taught English to for a bit. His name is Kouki).

Blessings!!!
